They played games, read great books, made gooey s’mores, and sipped hot chocolate while enjoying all the campfire vibes (no bug spray needed! ).

These first and second-grade students were rewarded with a special lunch this week for all their hard work in Rocket Math. Great job learning your math facts!!
Second-grade students from Mrs. Daley, Mrs. Simmons, and Ms. Naik's classes who achieved 30 AR points were rewarded with a book club lunch! They read Stink: Freaky Frog Freakout and learned a lot about frogs. Good job, readers!!

De Queen Public Schools will host a flu clinic for students and staff on October 8, 2025. If you wish to participate, please fill out the form that was sent home with students and return it as soon as possible. Extra forms are available in the school office. The deadline to submit forms is September 30th. #LeopardFamily

Today, Mrs. Sykes, with help from our leopard mascot, hosted a Back-to-School Rules Assembly for our Kindergarten–2nd grade students.
It was a fun and engaging way to kick off the year and remind our students how to have a safe, respectful, and successful school year!
