Today, Mrs. Sykes, with help from our leopard mascot, hosted a Back-to-School Rules Assembly for our Kindergarten–2nd grade students.
It was a fun and engaging way to kick off the year and remind our students how to have a safe, respectful, and successful school year!




De Queen Public Schools will host a flu clinic for students and staff on October 8, 2025. If you wish to participate, please fill out the form that was sent home with students and return it as soon as possible. Extra forms are available in the school office. The deadline to submit forms is September 30th. #LeopardFamily

📣 Back to School Registration Details – De Queen School District 🐾 It’s almost time to kick off a great school year! Here’s when and where each campus will hold registration: 📍 De Queen Primary & Elementary Schools July 29 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM 📍 De Queen Middle School July 31 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM & 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM 📍 De Queen Junior High School July 31 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM 📍 De Queen High School 🎓Seniors (12th Grade): July 24 | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM 📸Juniors (11th Grade): July 29 | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM 📸Sophomores (10th Grade): July 31 | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM 📸 All high school students will take their yearbook photos during registration. 🎓 Seniors will also take cap & gown pictures. 💻 DHS Students will receive their Chromebooks at registration. 💉 Nurses will be available at all locations to provide immunizations if needed.


Due to the potential threat of severe weather, for the safety of our students and staff we will be dismissing at 1:00 p.m. today. All De Queen bus routes will run at 1:00 P.M. today.

De Queen school make up days.



De Queen Schools will be on a regular schedule for buses and the start of school for Tuesday January 14th. Some bus routes in the northern part of the school district may not be able to pick up at all locations.


Due to the inclement weather, all DQPS campuses will be closed Thursday, January 9th
and Friday, January 10th, 2025.
