Courtney Klitz Named De Queen Primary Teacher of the Year

It is an honor to be named De Queen Primary’s teacher of the year. I am married to Chad Klitz and we have two daughters-both attend De Queen School.  My husband and I both are graduates of De Queen.  Our hobbies are to play golf as a family and hang out at the river.  My personal favorite hobby is reading.   

I am currently on my thirteenth-year teaching, all of which have been in Kindergarten.  During these thirteen years, I have taught children of all ability and maturity levels. I strive to meet each of my students’ individual needs.  I love teaching kindergarten because I get to help establish a good knowledge base for children to grow.  There is no greater feeling than to celebrate student success and to know that I am a part of that success.
